Hacis offers complete transshipment solution for FTA shipments

SuperLink China Direct expands beyond mere air-road transport service in support of trade between China and 13 countries. 

Under the Free Trade Agreements (FTA) signed between the Mainland China and 13 trading countries including Australia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand and Taiwan, qualified shipments traded between China and these countries, even transshipping via Hong Kong can enjoy preferential tariff. To qualify for the monetary incentives, shippers will require full ground handling support in Hong Kong and fulfill Customs’ requirements.

With the aid of our FTA Transshipment Solution, shippers can entrust Hacis to handle their FTA goods and complete relevant procedures in a hassle-free manner (Remark 1).

The FTA Transshipment Solution was a support service under SuperLink China Direct, which was first introduced as ECFA Facilitation Service in 2013 to support ECFA traders. Today, we have handled over a hundred of successful cases which enabled consignees to apply for tariff reduction at destination.

About Free Trade Agreement Transshipment Facilitation Scheme

Hong Kong Customs launched the Free Trade Agreement Transshipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme) on 20 December 2015. Under the Scheme, traders are able to enjoy preferential tariff under respective FTAs signed by the Mainland China.
