I am so grateful for being chosen as one of the 4 staff to attend this great ceremony and proud of our company for receiving these 3 awards. The day after we received the award, I had a wonderful time at Universal Studios!

Memories are made of this…
It was a very special night in Singapore, at this year’s Payload Asia Awards. Not only did Hactl and its added-value logistics subsidiary Hacis win three awards... but four of Hactl’s frontline staff joined Chief Executive Mark Whitehead and Executive Director Vivien Lau on stage to receive them.
Hactl received this year’s Customer Choice Award for Ground Handler of the Year, while Hacis received the award as Regional Logistics Provider of the Year in both the Customer Choice and Industry Choice tracks.
Customer Choice Awards are based on online voting by customers, business partners and Payload Asia readers. Winners in the Industry Choice Awards track are chosen by an international panel of industry experts. The Hactl and Hacis awards were announced at a glittering ceremony in Singapore. Mark Whitehead had already invited the four staff and their wives to travel to Singapore to attend the event.
Calling the four staff up on stage, Mark declared: “These awards have nothing to do with me, but everything to do with them. They are the ones who work under the heat, the rain, and in typhoons, around the clock....doing their best for the past 39 years, every single day.”
And what do the four frontliners have to say about their experience?
It was heartwarming when our boss thanked all of us on stage for our support every day and in all kinds of weather. Travelling to Singapore was like a second honeymoon for my wife and me.
I felt pride, joy and thankfulness. I’ll never forget when we were on stage with our boss, and he introduced us to the audience. A big guy sitting at the main table gave me a thumbs up, and I did the same back to him. I am so proud of being a member of Hactl!
I thank the company so much for sharing this unforgettable moment. It was my first time visiting my brother in Singapore, where he migrated 15 years ago.
