Hactl Group wins twice at Payload Asia Awards...
Hactl won the Ground Handler of the Year Award – the third time the company has received the award in the scheme’s three-year history. Hacis meanwhile won the Regional Logistics Provider of the Year Award, beating a number of well-known major operators. It was Hacis’ first time on stage at the event.
Making a Difference
The awards aim to recognise air cargo supply chain organisations that have made a difference in the industry – with particular emphasis on market adeptness, innovative products and superior strategy. Companies were shortlisted in one of 25 categories, and then voted for online by Payload Asia readers; all voting was independently scrutinised.
Speaking after the awards, Hactl’s Chief Executive, and Chairman of Hacis, Mark Whitehead said: “It’s very gratifying that both Hactl and Hacis were recognised through these awards, and we sincerely thank the organisers and judges, and the many people who voted for both companies.”
. . . and Scoops Top Safety Award
Hactl has also received the Gold Award in the Safety Management System category of the 13th annual Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health (HKOSH) Awards. The HKOSH Awards are designed to recognise organisations providing outstanding performance in workplace safety and health.
Safety is Always Our Priority
Speaking after received the award, Hactl’s Executive Director, Operation Services, Kenneth Chan said: “At Hactl, safety is always our priority. Our most valuable asset is our staff, and cargo handling creates constant injury threats in the terminal and on the ramp. This Gold Award is a reflection of the excellent safety regime which has been constructed at Hactl through management commitment and tremendous staff effort.”
“I thank everyone for their unfailing and constant commitment to planning and implementing safety initiatives. This is another great milestone in Hactl’s safety culture journey. But we will never be complacent; our goal is to achieve zero injury in the workplace.”
