Hactl Sustainability Report 2023

Hactl has published its latest Sustainability Report, detailing its actions and achievements over the past year.

A major highlight was receiving approval of Hactl’s new science-based greenhouse gas reduction targets, from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Hactl Chief Executive Wilson Kwong said that this endorsement strengthens Hactl’s determination to lead the way in a smooth and commercially viable transition towards net zero.

Throughout the year, guided by our Sustainability Strategy Framework, we also continued to integrate sustainability across Hactl’s operations and into our value chain engaging customers, tenants, contractors, suppliers, and local community partners.

Meanwhile, we continue to care for our workforce, and advocate for a more inclusive and diverse community through innovative projects and collaborations with local charities – such as promoting menstrual equity, repurposing 8,000 redundant unused uniforms into functional holdalls and Hactl Teddies, and distributing furniture made from discarded wooden pallets.
