Hacis announces extended scope of partnership with DB Schenker

Hacis (Hong Kong Air Cargo Industry Services Limited - the road feeder and added-value logistics services arm of Hactl) has signed an agreement with the Hong Kong division of DB Schenker, extending the scope of the relationship between the two companies.
The new contract will see Hacis providing DB Schenker with Airport Direct Export Services for the company’s considerable export airfreight traffic from China and Hong Kong. The Airport Direct Export Handling Centre at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will now handle around one third of all DB Schenker’s Hong Kong air cargo volumes. The contract signing ceremony was held at SuperTerminal 1 in Hong Kong on 20 July 2012.
Hacis is a subsidiary of Hong Kong’s major air cargo handler, Hactl, but operates autonomously from its parent, providing neutral services to all carriers and freight forwarders, whether or not they are a client of Hactl.

In addition to handling, warehousing and added-value logistics services at HKIA, Hacis also provides local collection and deliveries throughout Hong Kong and the New Territories, plus express road feeder services to and from six IATA-designated Inland Cargo Depots throughout China’s most important industrial region - the Pearl River Delta and the neighbouring Fujian Province.
