Hacis awarded the Greater PRD Partnership Project Award in Logistics Awards Hong Kong 2007

Mr. Jimmy Chan, General Manager of Hacis (left) received the award from Professor K. L. Mak of the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering of the University of Hong Kong .

Hong Kong Air Cargo Industry Services Limited (Hacis) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Greater PRD Partnership Project Award in the Logistics Awards Hong Kong (LAHK) 2007 organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (Hong Kong), Hong Kong Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Limited, Hong Kong Logistics Association and Hong Kong Productivity Council.

For the second year in a row, Hacis has received an award at the LAHK, a prestigious annual industry-wide event in Hong Kong. Following the success in last year's LAHK in which Hacis was awarded the Science and Technology Innovation Award, Hacis scooped the Greater PRD Partnership Project Award this year. The Award was given to Hacis in recognition of achievements in building its SuperLink China Direct service, a one-stop shop cargo transport solution for airlines, freight forwarders and shippers who require seamless handling and connectivity between Hong Kong and the Greater Pearl River Delta region. The judging criteria were:

  • Excellence in partnering
  • Create value to customers
  • Excellence in market performance
  • Contribution to industry and society

Professor K. L. Mak from the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering of the University of Hong Kong presented the Award to Mr. Jimmy Chan, General Manager, Hacis at the Award Presentation Dinner held last night at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

"We are honoured to receive the Greater PRD Partnership Project Award which belongs not only to Hacis but also to our partners in the Greater PRD region. It certainly is a testimony to our seamless cooperation and long-term partnership rooted on mutual trust and respect. Looking ahead, we will continue to work closely with our partners and further expand our scope of services as well as the networks of our Inland Cargo Depots in the Greater PRD region. We are committed to enhancing our services, adding values to our customers and sustaining Hong Kong's position as the preferred logistics hub and primary gateway for Mainland China in the region." said Jimmy Chan.
